Douglas may have good intentions in thought, but, in action, it feels to me that he is relentless in his criticism (how a teen would take it) of his kid, and is totally annoying to be around. He knows he’s annoying, yet persists in running his mouth. I’m not quite 1/3 through, but I know I’d divorce his ass, probably before the kid was off to college. Not the book I need to soothe my nerves this moment in time.
