This is so infuriating

Yeah I’m possessed and we’re being attacked by an ancient evil that’s mimicking a baby’s cry, come visit, bring your infant. ?????????? What the fuck is this plotting

Starting to feel a little repetitive with the repeated visits, the returning to the cabin, the friends seeing the same entities that Felix saw… it’s really slowed down the story and repetition does not lend itself to horror well. Also, beginning to think it would have been better to have the story be Fae as a child with her dad as the narrator as the story infantilizes her so much

The first part of the book was so intense and I feel like we’ve slammed on the breaks now that we’ve left the cabin. Honestly, the best part was the African Grey at the beginning. Come back to me, Carrot
