Lucy Worsley is great. She destroyed a biographer for describing Jane as “plump, dumpy woman.” Jane was 5’7 with a 24in waist 💀Worsely responds, “What he (the other biographer) sees is an ordinary woman’s figure at rest sitting causally upon the ground and wearing voluminous regency clothing. What he describes as ‘dumpy’ is that she doesn’t look like a 20th century film star.”
