Incredibly insightful, simultaneously incredibly stupid. Gentile/Mussolini don’t even try to hide the fact that Fascism is for a weak minded person. They overtly state it many times. “Lose your individualism and follow Daddy! It’s innate!” Is the basic argument.

I think Mussolini kind of does himself a disservice with this book. I had heard him described as a “genius” for finding a third way. Instead I see him as a guy who wasn’t much of a thinker at all.
