You know the bad guy is after David, who is unconscious and helpless, yet no one is guarding him? And his supposedly alpha girlfriend goes to shower and leaves him alone? And then everyone is shocked and surprised that the bad guy kidnaps him? I’m not expecting genius literature, I will keep reading even though this series has gone downhill, every writer needs a cash cow. But that is too stupid even for me.
