Onto "Method Three for Murder." Poirot fans know dude can't take a vacation in peace, but this story opens with Archie unable to quit Wolfe's employ in peace.

I definitely appreciate the inclusion of female hackies, or cab drivers. The only other media depiction that regularly comes to mind is in the film version of "The Big Sleep" (Dir. Howard Hawks, 1946).

"Poison á la Carte" makes a production out of what turns out to be a pretty standard premise. Wolfe's quip that dining is an art, not a science is perfect for the character.

Several chapters into the first novella, "Poison à la Carte" and trying to figure out the riddle of who served the poisoned bilni sounds like an indie tabletop game.
