I will admit that I was going to stop reading because whenever the hero thinks or speaks, he sounds just like Yosemite Sam, and that is just not my thing. However, the story is beginning to get good and hopefully much less violent. 🤞

I had to stop reading this at 35% because I had a problem with the heroine frightened all the time 🫣 I can’t wait to see what you make of it! I’m still on the fence about going back to it

Oh I hope you enjoy this! I normally don’t like any violence either but for some reason this book didn’t end up bothering me.

I'm hoping this turns out to be good but I'm having a really hard time with all the supposed "western cowboy" dialect

It has a lot of positive reviews and thankfully, so far, most of the violence seems to be off page, though it's talked about on page..... which is a little disturbing to read, but I've read worse (which is probably not a good thing😆)!
