I like the writing so far. The pacing feels good. I find it hard to believe that in the small community of the council and family members no one knows the other beta has a brother on the council. That seems like something they’d dig up in their research

So you’re telling me that they know someone is interested in them and they want to keep her safe but they take a trip by themselves hours away to the coast? Where anyone could sneak up on them? And I thought the Red Moon guys were supposed to be stupid but tell me how they figured that all out so quickly
