I've already read this but I'm giving it a second go, just to see if my opinion changes.
Having (almost) read the first chapter, I can say that I understand why I loved it. The use of the "main", supernatural story as a filler, as something that shouldn't be really taken into account, emphasises the secondary characters.
For now, I absolutely love them, but I especially love the British wind (Terribly sorry...)!
