DNF at page 52. I just can’t get into this.

What an odd premise. It brings to mind the imagination of Clive Barker and his short story “In the Hills, the Cities” and his novel “Weaveworld”. There is an element that also reminds me of “From the Dust Returned” by Ray Bradbury. Something also just brought to mind “Fledgling” by Octavia E. Butler. All this to say, I’m into it.
