Not at this time, but there is a hell of a book coming that will have some contemporary asymmetric warfare concepts in it. Depending what the Pentagon says regarding classification issues, the next series--tentatively entitled STONELANDS--may have an Army intelligence soldier as a major character raising hell across parts of the same world as the current series. See my blog post from December 2020 for more.

Early 2020 if I hurry. I hope to have it to my editor by October or November for a release next spring.
Book III will wrap up this series and kick off another one, same world, different characters.
I have plans for standalone novels focusing on Daorah, Aever, and eventually Gale at some point in the next few years, as well as an Outworlders prequel that will be Ulo's origin story.
And thanks! Glad you're enjoying it. Cheers.

Thank you!
I'll likely always be a fantasy writer first and foremost. And I have a lot of writing to do if I'm to get this whole tale out there. So I'm probably going to stick with fantasy of one stripe or another for a while.

Great question. The Outworlders is not a LitRPG series.
It is, however, a hyper-realistic portal fantasy. I get a lot of great comments and reviews from LitRPG readers.
The mundane aspects of the world that I created are solid and immutable--in no small part because I researched most of the worldbuilding firsthand, spending several years learning swordsmanship, horsemanship, blacksmithing, etc.--so while it doesn't have a "rules" system per se, it kind of really does. Nothing is hand-waved, and everything has consequences . . . which is pretty much what The New Magic is about.
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for the question!
