What is your favourite time of day to write?

Ann Jones Thank you Tayler! Early morning when all is peaceful and quiet. The world is starting to wake up, I love watching the sun come up outside my window. ✍️😊🌅

Almost finished the second book in the Lynn Kramer Series and i truly love the series. I can not wait to get the third book. How long do i have to wait to get the third book in the series?

Do you have any new up coming books?

Ann Jones Working on book three in the Lyn Kramer Mystery Series. So much fun seeing what Lyn and the gang will do ha ha! They keep me on my toes 😉 I also have another series I am trying to rework and see if my editor thinks it is something people would enjoy reading. I sure hope so! 📚 Thank you Tayler 💖

How can you type while on the Treadmill?. I can't even walk and shew gum at the same time:)

Ann Jones First couple times there were some pretty funny accidents! So glad there isn't a live feed ha ha! I am not what you would call graceful 😉🙃! The treadmill and I have a very complicated relationship ha ha! 💔👣

How do you stay in such amazing shape? You look like ice cream, not like you eat it!

Ann Jones Ha ha! My hubby is this amazing photographer with a program called Photoshop lol!! He also hides the ice cream on a regular basis and made me make a stand up desk for working while walking on the treadmill... kind of mean hee hee! 😃😕😟😉

On writers block? I turn everything off, sit down in my sunroom with paper and pen and start scribbling ideas, good, bad, crazy, till the image I'm after starts to form. This can take a couple afternoons, but I get there. But ice cream sounds good too !

Ann Jones I like the idea of sunroom! Ice cream is my go to for every problem lol! 🍦💕🍨 My friend makes a poster board with pictures of her characters to give her visual inspiration 😊 Found this quote hee hee! “Writing about a writer's block is better than not writing at all”

Ann Jones What a beautiful way to start my day! I am almost finished with the next book in the Lyn Kramer Mystery series. I am hoping to have it out by the end of November. I also have another series I am planning on publishing in the next two weeks. You have motivated me! Thank you sometimes I need that little boost to get me on my way! 💕

Which comes first, the romance or the suspense in your stories?

Ann Jones Thank you for the question! Suspense if first for me. My Mom had me hooked on legal suspense novels from a young age. There wasn't a lot of romance in those books. My books tend to lean towards crime and solving cases. I do like to sprinkle in romance, the whisper of a kiss to come 💖

Ann Jones I don't think we can lol! When I formatted the book I also found new errors the formatting caused. I always get so embarrassed when I find a mistake I didn't catch 😊

What is the hardest part of the writing process for you?

Ann Jones I edit and edit... Even when I am "done" I want to change everything! Then second guess everything written lol! 😊 Do you do that Lorana?

Hi, thank you for emailing me with a copy of your book! I really appreciate it and I will start reading it as soon as possible! :) my question is this, where do you get your inspiration to write from?

Ann Jones My Mom loves suspense books and so I am trying to have some that I could read out loud to her without blushing too much 😳 She got me hooked on books that had either lawyers, detectives or something similar. I do love about every genre though, I love books! 💗 When I was in school I wanted to be a lawyer and took some classes, was always intrigued! I think I would have to say my inspiration is my Mom and a natural fascination with the suspense. Hope I answered your question and thank you so much for asking! 😊

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Ann Jones I am torn, I probably belong in Lewis Carroll's Wonderland. I would love to live in the Jungle Book world 💕 For fun I did a test online! According to the test I belong in Star Wars - You love grandeur (funny thing is I don't hee hee, pretty simple life). You know everything isn't black and white (my hubby would argue this one lol) and some things are not always what they seem. You think it's somewhat easy to tell what side people are fighting for(primarily the look of their weapon). You're a seasoned veteran in the fandom craze (so new at this, some days feel like I have no clue what I am doing) and while many don't like the new versions of you (wait...what 😉) , everyone still knows who you are. http://www.playbuzz.com/shannon10/whi...

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ann Jones Write, write and keep writing! Get multiple people to give you feedback and read as much as you can on writing. Read every book you can in the Genre you want to write in. Hope this helps!
