Thee Ace Man Karen and Richard were Methodist / Baptist but they were also on the road a lot and didn't attend church very often. Not sure what Randy wrote about it, but I did find a lot wrong with Little Girl Blue here http://www.theeaceman.com/littlegirlb... . The book was very superficial in my opinion and lacked an awful lot. Lots of oopses in Randy's book.

Great question there. I didn't know Richard as well, but I know as far as Karen she was very Christian. When Karen would make an important decision she would always wait for 3 signs from God (for the Father, Son and Holy Ghost). In the case of marrying Thomas Burris, Karen had 4 signs instead of 3 and Karen thought it was a sign of change but then realized that it was a sign that things were messed up and not about change, but of course she realized that after she got married, not before. Karen was also diagnosed several times with arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) and Karen's response was always something like, "I will not be kept alive by a machine. I'm the way God made me. If God had wanted me to have a pacemaker installed He would have already done it. I have a heart that doesn't beat normal. If God wants my heart to beat normal He would make it beat normal." Karen was also a big one on forgiveness of others. Karen thought of God as like a person and someone to talk to so she would pray to God in her own way (but not the on the knees, hands together type prayer [unless in church], but just kind of say to herself type praying). Karen wasn't a devout type person about anything really, but she did have a strong Christian base with a bunch of added on proverbs (principles) I guess you could say.
Thee Ace Man Thanks for your question Don Incognito. I make web pages as web pages can be edited and stuff added in or taken out as the need may arise. A printed book is what it is when printed. Also web pages can be translated into other languages too. A book at any time would be just too confining as I am constantly changing things almost day to day still after over two years now. There is also copyright and permission issues and all that to consider too. Too much of a headache. I'll stick to web pages like -

Thee Ace Man I'm actually a realist. I would actually like to be able to say 'the world of my dreams' but I honestly haven't dreamt since I was around 13 years old either. I'm kind of at a loss for words on this one for a change.
Thee Ace Man Two word horror story, Two words, "Uh oh". It happens every time.
Thee Ace Man I really feel I'm not much of a writer. I pretty much just do things. One of the things I needed to do was kind of document my life story in search of answers. About 3 years later, August 25/26, 2015, I figured out my answers for myself. I've led an interesting life so far and trying to recall all the information time after time gets difficult as there is so much there to remember. Also, trying to recall things off the top of your head all the time can lead to missing pieces here and there. Writing it all down makes it convenient in one place. Also, I didn't want to just do a "How great I think I am" kind of autobiography and I wanted to include the reader as a character too. I was searching for answers about life and I figured the reader is searching for answers too. The rough part was that many of the stories that were included involved people that had passed away and if you've ever tried to get permission from a dead person, you know how impossible that can be. So I improvised as best as I could without being specific. I am also glad that I wrote 'The New Math' when I did because if I had waited a few more years, the book would have become much more 'preachy' which I still don't want. It's just one of those personal things that I'm glad I thought to do and did.
Thee Ace Man No books at present. I work in the transportation industry and the summer months are always a busy time for me.
Thee Ace Man I didn't actually become a writer per se. I knew I had some different experiences in my life and I keep getting people that ask for advice. In my past, I had people that had told me about things that were written about me before I was born but they coukdn't be too specific about details fearing that instead of good things that bad things may happen if I knew what was written. So in my later years and during the writing of 'The New Math', I decided to review my life and search for possible answers. Fortunately for the book, I had forgotten several incidents that would have led to finding my own answer. Fortunate in the fact that the book turned out really well and wasn't too 'preachy' and was more about the search for answers than finding answers. Many different ideas interwoven throughout the book. I'm still alive (autobiography continues) and I still update a web page I titled 'The Mostest Newerest Math' which contains the original book text in black and the added stuff (visible on my web pages as 'The Science of Science' page and 'The Meaning of Life' page) in blue. But the added stuff is much more preachy in writing style and doesn't seem to flow as well as the original book did. But the stories I missed were just odd ball events that seemed insignificant at the time, but now seem to dominate. Such is life. And the last line of the book still holds true "The Meaning of life in one word -> Oops."

Note, I still work at the Elmira / Corning Regional Airport as a driver.
Thee Ace Man Writing is a mean of expression that lasts longer than the writer themselves. What is written is always a reflection of the writer themselves in some form. With that in mind, always look to be better. There's always more ideas and room for improvements. And there's always a chance of getting worst too. You never know until you try.
Thee Ace Man Only one 'older / recent' book as planned. The idea came as an idea to write about life in general and a search for problem solving. Problem solving is a main ingredient in math. Life problem solving -> the new math. I pretty much documented my life (Chapter One - Prelogue) as examples to draw from. Partly during and definitely after Chapter One, the reader actually becomes the main character of the book and I feel this is where the book draws its interest. How many autobiographies have the reader as a main character? I feel someone just going on and on about themselves gets a bit boring to me. There are things that are nice to know, but as a reader, what about me? It was nice having the idea for an autobiography where the reader is a main character too. Something different. And the book builds from beginning to end as each part leads into the next. As life has its twists and turns, so too does "The New Math". Very complicated underneath, but reads very easily. Despite the complicated nature of the interwoven ideas, the book starts simple and stays (for the most part) simple. And no, this isn't about 'the new math' of the 50's and 60's and was written before Common Core. It's about a new concept known as 'relationship math' and how things may be adding up or subtracting out in your life and the probable reasons why.

Thee Ace Man Ideas. Ideas. Ideas. I never actually figured myself to be a writer until after I realized that I had done some things that could be written about. Without the ideas coming forward, no need to write. I originally wrote "The New Math" by hand on ruled paper then later over to computer. In all honesty, it would have been easier to just use the computer as you can edit that way. I had many different ideas and finding a way to combine all these ideas together was the tough part. After an outline, it became much easier. The New Math started originally with the second and third chapters being written first as "Part One" and "Part Two" then the rest came from there. And the final idea "Life problems. Math problems. Life solutions. Math solutions. The New Math".
Thee Ace Man No current projects as far as writing. I am actually keeping an 'up to date' copy of "The New Math" I call "The Mostest Newerest Math" as it is an autobiography and I'm still alive. No plans to ever release the newer version as a book though. "The Mostest Newerest Math" will probably always exist as a web page.

In addition, I update my websites as needed http://www.theeaceman.com http://www.thenewmathbook.com and http://www.thenewmathbook.org
Thee Ace Man Never really had writer's block myself. Many times when writing I feel it is good to back away for a short bit then come back to it. Many times, just a little extra thought time is what you need to get your point across better.
