Goodreads asked Thee Ace Man:

How do you get inspired to write?

Thee Ace Man Ideas. Ideas. Ideas. I never actually figured myself to be a writer until after I realized that I had done some things that could be written about. Without the ideas coming forward, no need to write. I originally wrote "The New Math" by hand on ruled paper then later over to computer. In all honesty, it would have been easier to just use the computer as you can edit that way. I had many different ideas and finding a way to combine all these ideas together was the tough part. After an outline, it became much easier. The New Math started originally with the second and third chapters being written first as "Part One" and "Part Two" then the rest came from there. And the final idea "Life problems. Math problems. Life solutions. Math solutions. The New Math".
