Writers block is something that every writer has experienced at least once in their lifetime, and is also the worst feeling ever. Whenever it happens to me I go through a certain cycle, anger, tears, and self-hatred. The way I deal with it though, is just to take a break. If you sit in front of your computer or typewriter for hours trying to think of something, it won't happen. Do something active, run, exercise, just focus on something else. The best ideas come when you least expect them, not when you're sitting at your desk hating yourself for not being able to come up with an adequate idea.

Probably the honesty that comes with it. I've never really been the person that was good at sharing their feelings to other people. I always liked writing it out, and that's something I can do. You can be as honest as you want, talk about what you want, and create a whole entire world of fiction just out of your imagination. Writing is honestly the most amazing thing in the entire world, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. It was my first love, and is a part of who I am.

JUST WRITE! Even if you think you're terrible, still do it. We learn from repetition, so if you keep writing you will improve. Also, branch out a little. Maybe try something you're not the best at writing, step out of your comfort zone, and I promise it will improve your writing.

I'm am currently working on a completely new novel. I decided to take a break for "The Rapid Eternity" and branch out and try something new. This new novel that I am working on is extremely personal, and means a lot to me. I am very excited for it to be finished and for you to read it! I really hope you will all enjoy it.

Writing was always appealing to me, but my love for it really started in fourth grade actually. I would have a lot of free time during recess, so I would just start writing short horror stories, and they were god awful. I remember the first one I wrote, it was about there being a lockdown in school and a kid being outside of the classroom when it went down, which led to a brawl between him and the attacker. It was probably one of the worst things I've ever read, but hey, you've got to start somewhere right?

It's funny, I actually can't remember how this idea came to me. I just remember sitting in English class one day, and the thought randomly popped into my head. I just always thought it would be really cool to have a watch that would count down to a significant event in your life, but, of course, I couldn't just make that just be the whole story. So I started to think what my favorite genres were, and dystopia happened to be one. There was just something so appealing about creating a whole world in my head, one that wasn't perfect, and that shows that even though there are these amazing technological advances, it's not all as it's cracked out to be. There can still be evil even in the midst of a seemingly perfect society.
