How do you get inspired to write?

Caleb Reese Writing was always appealing to me, but my love for it really started in fourth grade actually. I would have a lot of free time during recess, so I would just start writing short horror stories, and they were god awful. I remember the first one I wrote, it was about there being a lockdown in school and a kid being outside of the classroom when it went down, which led to a brawl between him and the attacker. It was probably one of the worst things I've ever read, but hey, you've got to start somewhere right?
