Goodreads asked Caleb Reese:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Caleb Reese Writers block is something that every writer has experienced at least once in their lifetime, and is also the worst feeling ever. Whenever it happens to me I go through a certain cycle, anger, tears, and self-hatred. The way I deal with it though, is just to take a break. If you sit in front of your computer or typewriter for hours trying to think of something, it won't happen. Do something active, run, exercise, just focus on something else. The best ideas come when you least expect them, not when you're sitting at your desk hating yourself for not being able to come up with an adequate idea.
