Matthew Taylor is the author of the Jax Jensen Trilogy, among other science fiction and fantasy tales written with one simple motto in mind: be carefully crafted and character-driven. He believes stories should be adventurous and fun for the reader. Matthew uses his professional background--a BA in Political Science, an MS in Cybersecurity, and years of experience as a Cyber Operations Sergeant in the United States Army--to help create detailed worlds that often see modern technological developments drawn out to exciting, and sometimes frightening, futuristic possibilities.

When not writing, Matthew enjoys playing copious amounts of Warhammer 40,000, creating digital art on Procreate, reading, and cat-proofing his home from two mischievous B
