Janet has spent most of her life in the San Diego area. She graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Sciences. Later she went back to school at California State University, San Marcos to earn her Multiple Subject Teacher's Credential and a Moderate to Severe Special Education Credential. Janet worked for many years as a director of a school for children with special medical needs. When I …moreThere are times I can't stop writing, the words and ideas are stuck in my head nagging me to write them down. Other times I struggle to write. When I get writer's block I don't push it. I've found that if I just take a break, a few days or longer if needed, I'll get inspired again. The most important thing is to not worry about writer's block, stressing about not being able to write won't help the ideas come any quicker. Another thing that helps is to read what I've already written. This gives me a chance to edit my work, but it also gets my mind thinking about the story line and can give me ideas on what my story is missing.(less)
