Jan Crossen is a gold level Mom's Choice Award winning author who became an avid reader when her teacher, Mrs. Sarah Blower, read Charlotte's Web, to her fourth grade class in Athens, Ohio. From then on, she was hooked on books!

Jan began writing stories after she won the Tall Tale Tellers Contest in Mrs. Blower's class. Oh, how Jan wishes she could tell her teacher what a powerful, positive influence she was on her young student!

Today, Jan writes stories about people and animals who have touched her own heart and life. Her books, FOREVER, and They Call Me CAT, were inspired by her adopted son, Joshua.
