Laura is a Vancouver Island based author of a middle grade equestrian series and two cozy mystery series. She is also a screenwriter with several options and awards to her credit.

Hesse grew up a back stage brat in music hall theater and credits her mother with her love of dance and song and her father with her love of reading and writing. When she is not writing, she can be found on a beach somewhere or singing at a local jam.

While her horses have all passed over the rainbow, they appear in many of her stories.

Delightful read Wonderful cozy style fantasy with well developed characters, cat ladies, shifters, dragons, despicable villains and crazy fun. Loved every minute.

OMG I laughed so hard What a marvelous read. I woke up my husband I was laughing so hard late into the night to finish this delightful tale. Hexed animals, possessed goats, child friendly hell hounds and a turnip pickling demon lord. A must read.
