My name is Kathleen Fracaro. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. Although I have lived in other places and at the present time live in Tennessee, my home will always be Baton Rouge.

Writing has always been something that I wanted to do but chose other paths instead. So thankful that I now have the opportunity to now do what I was always meant to do.

I became interested in the Baton Rouge serial killings in the late 90's and early 2000's. During that period, after seeing first hand what it is like to live in fear, I began to think of writing a fictional account of a serial killer terrorizing an area in Louisiana. Peopl…moreFor me, writing is opening up my soul. It's unleashing things I didn't even know I had in me. I will begin writing and things just come from me. People are always asking me where did you get this character or this character and I always say, I don't know. It just came to me. It's like opening the floodgates of ideas. I guess the best thing about being a writer is finding your true gift, who you are and what you were meant to do on this earth.(less)
