What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kathleen Fracaro For me, writing is opening up my soul. It's unleashing things I didn't even know I had in me. I will begin writing and things just come from me. People are always asking me where did you get this character or this character and I always say, I don't know. It just came to me. It's like opening the floodgates of ideas. I guess the best thing about being a writer is finding your true gift, who you are and what you were meant to do on this earth.
