Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kathleen Fracaro I lived in Baton Rouge, La in the late 90's and early 2000's. There was a serial killer stalking Baton Rouge during that time named Derrick Todd Lee. (Actually there were 3 serial killers come to find out some years later). Women lived in fear, not leaving their homes without being escorted. They traveled in groups to go to the grocery store. Eventually Lee was caught but ever since that time I have been interested in the serial killer cases and the psychology of serial killers.I have always wanted to write but I put it off for years. Not said in a way to give credit, but the BR serial killings is what spurned me to write the book HIM.
