Donia,
I'm so glad you enjoyed Holding the Fort. The next book is Bound and Determined. It's a novella and it's available as an ebook, or in paperback in the collection "Hearts Entwined." It's already out.

After that the next long book is "The Lieutenant's Bargain" and it comes out in Dec. 2018. It's got Lieutenant Jack Hennessey and that girl from back home that broke his heart. :)

I learned a lot researching this series. If you want to read Mrs. Dyer's book, it's titled Fort Reno: Or, Picturesque Cheyenne and Arrapahoe Army Life before the Opening of Oklahoma, by Mrs. D. B. Dyer.

Thanks for writing me. Sorry it took so long to respond. I forget to check my messages here.

Love,
Regina

The next book after At Love's Bidding is "Her Dearly Unintended" which is a novella about Josiah. It's already out and available as an individual ebook or in the collection "With this Ring?" in paperback.

You are right about the epilogue, though! Betsy's book is "For the Record" which comes out this December. And just for fun, "For the Record" features Joel Puckett who was the young deputy in "Caught in the Middle." So this book actually ties the two series together. (less)

Identity Theft Finds New Victims

Most people are aware of the need to protect themselves from identity theft, but there are some who remain vulnerable despite precautions—fictional characters. Statistics show identity theft against fictional characters has doubled since 2018. Criminals are filling out credit card applications and loan paperwork in the names of well-known characters and ruining their credit in the process.

“He'd tried a life separated from God, and it was no way to live. He'd rather be a son who was chastened than a stranger who was ignored.”
Regina Jennings, Sixty Acres and a Bride

Topics Mentioning This Author

“The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon.”
Robert Cormier

“When I said I would die a bachelor, I did not think I should live till I were married.”
William Shakespeare, Much Ado About Nothing

“Betsy was impulsive in every area save one. Where men were concerned, she'd never ventured anything. Let others wear their hearts on their sleeves; let others chase after masculine attention. Betsy had more interesting pursuits.”
Regina Jennings, For the Record

“The only difference between your average man and a hero is that the hero figures out what to do before it's too late,' He nudged her aside and, with a few pulls, filled her bucket. 'Then he has the nerve to go on and do it.'
Betsy leaned back as if she was trying to get a complete view of him from head to toe. 'Is that all it takes to make a good hero?'
'One more thing. A hero always comes back for his lady.”
Regina Jennings, For the Record

“Was life measured by the trouble you avoided, or by the obstacles you overcame? God had made her for trouble, equipped her for hardship. She'd do her share and then some. Most of all, she'd buttress the man who faced the dangers for all of them. He wouldn't do it alone. Not while she had blood pumping in her veins.”
