At the beginning of December 2013, I sat down at my computer and started typing. I had a story in my head that insisted on being released and four months later I had written my first novel.

Writing is not new for me. I've been writing since my teenage years. It is only now that I have felt the urge to take it more seriously.

My credentials? I don't have a degree in writing and I'm not published extensively (yet). My first job was the Australian Army Reserve and I left only to enlist in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
