A former technical writer, Rene Averett writes cookbooks, children's books, and paranormal cozy mysteries under her name. When she started writing fan fiction, she wrote under the pen name of Lillian Wolfe, so it made sense to keep the name for her paranormal suspense novels, YA urban fantasy novels and science fiction fantasy novels. She writes suspense romance novels under the pen name of Riona Kelly.

Rene started this life in El Paso, Texas and grew up there. She started writing at nine, teaching herself to type on her mother's typewriter.

Under Lillian I. Wolfe, she has written the five-book Funeral Singer series, and has two other series started and growing, Time Threads, and The O'Ceagan Saga.

My latest cookbook is now available in paperback and Kindle from Amazon. It has over 55 recipes for delicious low carb desserts to carry you throughout the year. There about 65 recipes in the book, so it has lots of great choices to satisfy your sweet tooth without adding to your waistline.
