Kelli Heitstuman-Tomko is an Idaho-born author and writer. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and has covered crime, business, agriculture, and tourism for newspapers and publications in Colorado and Wyoming. She has won a Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award for column writing and the Denver Press Club’s Damon Runyon Scholarship for storytelling in journalism.

Ms. Heitstuman-Tomko has lived in Idaho, New Hampshire, Maine, Florida, Colorado, and Wyoming. She currently resides in Fallon, Nevada. She is a member of High Sierra Writers and of ACES of Northern Nevada.
