Pay it Forward Sonnet | Mücadele Muhabbet

Say no thanks, instead help another,
And tell them to pay it forward.
The one tradition this world badly needs,
Is that of kindness beyond all reward.
The world lacks kindness and compassion,
For so far rituals are passed on as tradition.
One generation of savage and divided tribals,
Makes sure to propagate nothing but division.
This very prehistoric tendency must end,
We must humanize the very notion of tradition.
Let us place all glory on the colors of joy,
Let us prioritize kindness over all argumentation.
And remember not to mechanize this with ideology.
Helping those in need is just plain ordinary humanity.

Tools and Fools (The Sonnet) | Making Britain Civilized

I am a scientist but,
I don’t care about science.
I am a monk but,
I don’t care about enlightenment.
I am a philosopher but,
I don’t care about philosophy.
I am a theologian but,
I don’t care about theology.
I may use a lot of tools,
But that’s what they are – tools.
They are meant to serve society,
Not look down on people as fools.
When the tool rules, user turns a tool.
Human above all else – lo the supreme rule.

Cardiomyopathy Sonnet (Medicine and Metaphor) | Vande Vasudhaivam

Person’s worth comes from
their pulse, not from their purse.
It’s okay if your purse is anemic,
so long as your veins got plenty pulse.

It’s your pulse that brings the world to life,
Pulsating heart is radiator during this ice-age.
Ice-age never went away, it just got internalized,
As outwardly in appearance we became less savage.

Human heart is in dire need of a green house,
All the warmth is escaping rapidly.
Melting ice caps will drown us later,
We’ll have kicked the bucket long before,
from frostbitten cardiomyopathy.

Brain’s death is death of the body,
Heart’s death is death of the being.
Kindness keeps the being alive
long after the heart stops beating.

Sonnet 1144 | Visvavictor

Istanbul to Alpha Centauri,
Cosmos courses in my corpuscles.
Religion, nation, stuff it all,
Benevolence makes the world livable.

Din, dünya, milliyet falan,
hiç umurumda değil.
Sen mutlu ol – bana yeter.
Scripture, constitution, god, government,
Nothing matters to me, except behavior.

The greatest iftar is
to break the fast of apathy,
with the feast of affection.
Sin humano no hay dios,
Where there is no kindness
there is no divine intervention.

Sapiens intervention is divine intervention,
There is nothing higher or more mighty.
When we are obliterated in lifting the fallen,
That’s the living manifestation of the almighty.

I am the valley, you are my gate | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavictor: Kanima Akiyor Kainat

I am but a drunken treasure,
with neither beginning nor end.
Don’t fall prey to gatekeepers –
I am the valley, you are my gate.

In a world that rewards
second-hand existence,
Stand alone and original,
as a first-hand sapiens.

Monsoon comes every time,
defying all evident drought.
Whole world will lose its sight,
if one bold heart forgets to sprout.

Miracle and Migraine (Sonnet 1370) | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavatan: 100 Demilitarization Sonnets

“Miracle and Migraine (Sonnet 1370)

Words are my leisure,
Words are my life.
Words are my gift to thee,
Use ’em wisely for light.

Kind words cost us nothing,
Cruel words will cost us all.
Faith in people costs us nothing,
Systemic mistrust will end us all.

It is common knowledge in the circle,
I don’t control words, I get visions.
However, every miracle takes its toll,
Hence, the migraines are getting worse.

I don’t mind, so long as I am ointment.
You keep the magic, I’ll keep the pain.”

“There is nothing supernatural about visions – or to be more accurate, contrary to traditional belief, it’s not messages from some extraterrestrial domain. Visions are indeed messages from a mysterious realm alright, but like the everyday realm of human perception, the transcendental realm as well is creation of brain chemicals. I won’t go into details here, as I already did that in my early days. One of my earliest works, Autobiography of God, contains a detailed analytical account of the neurobiology of transcendental experiences. However, the question is not whether there is an explanation, the question is, is it worth explaining! Because, while sometimes the lack of explanation facilitates superstition, some things are better left unexplained – such as, love.”

Grow so big with your ideas that you become a threat to every nationalist state in the world. Abhijit Naskar | Visvavatan: 100 Demilitarization Sonnets

Grow so big with your ideas that you become
a threat to every nationalist state in the world.
Grow so big with inclusivity that you become a curse
to every fundamentalist institution in the world.

Pledge allegiance to no label,
Be absolutely, unequivocally nondual.
Move past even the concept of nonduality,
So that you become unequivocally whole.

Expand, expand, and expand again,
till the world witnesses your human reign.
Expand to serve, expand to love!
Amidst eternal desert be the impossible rain.
