Gun-Fetish (The Sonnet)

When I was in my teenage years,
I believed, having a gun would be so cool.
Then I grew up and it occurred to me,
Firearm fetish is but hysteria of the fool.
Guns don't make the society safe,
Any more than nukes ensure world peace.
Civilians carrying personal firearm,
Are but rabid dogs without a leash.
If you are worried about self-defense,
Daily practice some form of martial arts.
Your gun is not only a threat to you,
It is also a threat to your loved ones.
So I beg you my responsible civilian sibling,
Give up your gun and uphold peacemaking.

The Chupacabra Sonnet | Gospel of Undoctrination

Chihuahuas need guns for strength,
They feel naked without concealed carry.
To them I say, with all humility,
Open your eyes muchacho – ¡chupacabra aquí!
You may keep your gun, I won’t say a word,
But don’t confuse them to be your safe haven.
Own them in secret, but think of using them,
And you’ll face the wrath of this kraken.
You may conceal, you may carry, if law allows,
But dare not raise your gun at a reformador.
To the wounded stranger I am ointment,
But to the inhuman vermin I am volcano.
Carrying a gun every moron feels like superman.
Stand up to cruelty unarmed, then you are human.

Ain’t My Fourth of July (The Sonnet) | Amantes Assemble

Fourth of July comes and goes,
Yet slavery remains and thrives.
It kills in the name of supremacy,
It causes ruin in a pro-life guise.
Real advocates of life value life,
And place life above all belief.
Belief that values guns over person,
Is only pro-death and pro-disease.
Freedom involves accountability,
Without which we are just free animals.
Those who turn superstition into law,
Are no judge but a bunch of dumbbells.
This ain’t my Fourth of July, for I actually value life.
Till all lives are deemed equal, I’ll continue to strive.

Guns Are Viagra (Sonnet 1262) | Abhijit Naskar | Yaralardan Yangın Doğar

“Those who think a nation is as strong as its military, belong in a mental hospital, not in government.”

“Guns Are Viagra (Sonnet 1262)

Indifference does more damage than inhumanity,
For animals can’t be expected to be human.
Humans are human when they are accountable,
Passive spectators are worse than inhuman.

Silence of the peacelovers is more damaging
than violence of the warmongers.
Till the very thought of guns makes you sick,
you are only playing make believe peacekeepers.

Guns are just viagra for the impotent,
Bullets are but crutches for centipedes.
When there’s no substance in mind and spine,
Monkeys tend to cower behind semiautomatics.

More backward a country,
more its fascination with guns and bombs.
That’s why you cannot imagine a hero,
without a gun in their hands.

Real heroes don’t carry guns,
Real heroes don’t wear capes.
Wearing a smile, carrying a spine,
Real heroes work to rescue peace,
from the clutches of states.”

Democracy is people-approved dictatorship (Sonnet 1306) | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavatan: 100 Demilitarization Sonnets

Doctors are not official representatives,
Yet they do their job quite efficiently.
Teachers are not official representatives,
Yet they do their job quite respectfully.

Public transport drivers ain’t representatives,
Yet they carry their duties quite diligently.
Factory workers ain’t official representatives,
Yet they fulfill their tasks rather honorably.

All the professions that actually require
some tangible skillsets and expertise,
don’t rely on the jungle whim of democracy.
Yet the most glorified profession of all,
has no performance standards compulsory.

If this is your idea of a civilized democracy,
No wonder you still crave peace in nuclear weapons!
Only monkeys could confuse homicide with defense,
It takes a human to plant peace through illumination.
