Raghead (The Sonnet) | Handcrafted Humanity

Some call me raghead,
Some call me desert dweller.
Some call me curry-breath,
Some call me f-ing nigger.
This is not just my story,
But of every person of color.
In a world stolen by whites,
Anything non-white is inferior.
Upon receiving so much hate,
I admit, sometimes I do feel gloomy.
I know how it is to be cussed everyday,
So I choose love no matter the agony.
The tradition of hate has gone on long enough.
I choose to be the break in habit on the world's behalf.

All Roads Lead to People (First Sonnet of 2025) | Abhijit Naskar | Azad Earth Army: When The World Cries Blood

What the world needs is character,

character civilized enough to
prioritize benevolence over borders,
awake enough to tell right from wrong,
and not kowtow to cannibal ancestors,

alive enough to value first the welfare of
the living over the last wishes of the dead,
human enough to identify as human, beyond
the gaslighting spell of prejudiced fairytales.

What burns the bigots most is
an unbending flame of inclusion,
what the world needs is character,
radiant with loving assimilation.

All roads spring from people,
and they lead back to the people.
Whenever we deviate from each other,
we are bound to end back in the jungle.

Hope Gone Sour (American Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, Azad Earth Army

America is not a country,
America is an abomination.
America is a scourge on
the fabric of time, the
ideal tale of precaution.

America is a living record
of humans regressing to animal.
America is a perfect specimen
of democracy cleverly dismantled.

America is a nation built by
terrorists for the terrorists.
America holds world record for
humanity’s worst of atrocities.

America is a promise of hope gone sour.
America is plague amongst fellowship of powers.
