Never stop! :-) And write the stories that your heart calls you to; never mind what anybody else says or what's popular.

Read tons! I think my love of reading has helped my writing so much!! There's so much to learn just by reading the books of seasoned writers.

If you have a finished story, let friends or family read it. You'll never know what people think about it until you let them read it! It's nerve-wracking of course, but you have to do it at some point.

Connect with published authors. Ask them about their publishing journey and whatnot.

And when you feel your book is ready for the public, forge ahead! That's what I'm doing in any case, :-) Check out all your options and decide on one. Get your name out there by social media. Do not let anyone tell you that you can't publish your work. You can. Just keep trying! :-)(less)

I print my books through createspace.com. What they do, is each time a costumer buys a book, they print it up and send it. So I don't have to print up a bunch of books at once. They print on demand. I sell my paperbacks for $5.99, and probably get around two dollars profit since each book is $2.15 to print.(less)

Why I Stopped Writing (and other small revelations)

So, why did I stop writing?
I've been writing stories since eight-years-old ... been wanting to publish books since I was a little girl. I used to write almost nonstop. I always had an exciting tale in the works.
But as I got older, I think stress, anxiety, and even depression started to creep in and stifle my creative spirit. I overthink things like crazy, and I think I've been going through some k Read more of this blog post »

trust me this will put a smile on your face, make your day, or help you

Every night , someone thinks about you before they go to sleep,

At least fifteen people in this world love you.

The only reason someone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you

There are at least two people in this world that would die for you

You mean the world to someone.

Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look.

Always remember the compliments you've received.

Forget the rude remarks.

So if you are a loving friend, send this to everyone on your list including the person that sent
it to you.

God loves you so much that He sent his only Son to die on the cross for your sins!

Make Someone else's day! Help get a smile on someone's face! Help someone out! remember

Historical fiction captivates me too, in fact I rarely read anything else! :) Same here, finding new friends that love the same books you do is so much fun. :)
