(Wait, do I do this in first person? Third person? Ugh, I never know. Do I go with the whole, 'Nick was born very young' thing? It's so awkward. Okay, I've kind of already started in first, so I'm going with first person. Less awkward... probably. Yeah.)

I'm the author of (Oh My God it's already awkward), FRIGHTFULLY EVER AFTER, PULLING STRINGS, VILLAINS NEVER DIE, and BETWEEN DAYS; a Dark Urban Fairy Tale, a psychological thriller, a diverse superhero story, and a collection of dreams (respectively).

Fiction is my thing, and always a little bit sci-fi. I like my stories to have a bit of mystery, and a horror backbone. You won't find much romance here, but be prepared for a generous helping of swearing. And similes. A lot of them.

Fever dreams... small world because I read most of 'Pulling Strings' with a mild fever (ah the joys of small villages, poor water treatment and severe inbreeding). It actually seemed to be appropriate even though my wife swears I didn't move my tea cup with my mind? Some nonsense about dropping it because I'm a klutz and not a klairvoyant... sic(k).

There weren't any books which influenced FEA. It was inspired instead by one of the oldest and greatest of motivating factors to attempt wild and outlandish things: Rum.

It came from a rum induced fever dream I had while on a tropical island. The scene in the pawnshop is straight out of the dream, and it's how things ended before I woke up sweating and screaming. I couldn't shake those images for weeks, and knew that I had to get them down on paper.
