Chuck Abdella is a history teacher at St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA. He describes himself as: “a history teacher, indie writer, world-saver, superhero (if you believe the rumors), and youth softball coach. Not necessarily in that order.” Chuck’s four-book fantasy series, The Outcasts: The Lies of Autumn, The Darkest Forests, Whispers of Spring, and A Flicker of Hope, has been enjoyed by readers on six continents. In 2021, Chuck started a new YA fantasy series, set in a high school. The Sun and the Moon and its 2022 sequel, Shadows and Stars speak to anyone who has ever wondered if their high school teachers are from another world.
