Cubs’ Imanaga, two relievers, no-hit Pirates at Wrigley
The Chicago Cubs’ Shota Imanaga and two relievers combined to no-hit the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night, marking the Cubs’ first no-no at Wrigley Field since 1972.
Imanaga tossed 7 innings of no-hit ball, and Nate Pearson and Porter Hodge contributed an inning each to the gem, which ended in a score of 12-0. The combined effort was the first Cubs’ Wrigley no-hitter since Milt Pappas blanked the San Diego Padres in 1972.

Astros’ Blanco no-hits Blue Jays
The Houston Astros’ Ronel Blanco no-hit the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night for a 10-0 win at Minute Maid Park.
Blanco struck out 7 and issued a pair of walks (both to George Springer), tossing 105 pitches to make history.
It was the Astros 17th no-hitter, and the eighth against the Blue Jays. Blanco’s gem is the earliest no-hitter on the calendar, topping Hideo Nomo’s April 4, 2001 no-no by three days.

Phillies’ Lorenzen no-hits Nats — first vs. franchise since move to D.C.
The Philadelphia Phillies Michael Lorenzen no-hit the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night, marking the first no-hitter against the franchise since its move to D.C.
Lorenzen, pitching in just his second game since his trade from Detroit, struck out five and walked four as the Phillies topped the Nats 7-0.
The Washington Nationals franchise was last no-hit in 1999 when they were the Montreal Expos, when David Cone tossed a perfect game at Yankee Stadium on July 18, 1999.
The last Phillies no-hitter was in 2015, when Cole Hamels tossed a Wrigley Field gem against the Chicago Cubs.
