Thanks for the question, Vrushali!

Writing is one of the strongest media to reach out to the world. When the thoughts behind this book were condensing in my mind, I wanted to share them with as many people as possible. Hence, I began the process of writing the book. After I started, I realized that the process of writing itself was very soothing for my mind and I got hooked onto it. After completing the book, I transformed into a blogger and have created 100 posts in last year and a half, published ar www.ashutoshm.com .

So, the ability to share my ideas, thoughts and feelings with a large number of people, and the mental peace that I derive, motivate me for keep writing. It has never felt like a task or a burden.

The other thing was the subject itself. I have been doing a lot of things for my own well-being. I have read many self-help books. I felt that there was a gap in the available books. Most books either focused only on one aspect of well-being or were drowned in jargon or were too preachy without many practical suggestions. Hence, I felt that if I can give a structure to the audience for taking care of their mind, body and soul, and write it in simple language (not highly impressive literary language), it will be beneficial to everyone.

I have only one suggestion for you. Don't say,"I am trying to write." Say, "I am writing my first book!"

All the best to you.

cheers

How do I Get My Inspiration?

The story of Kavita

The whole of my life, I have looked for inspiration from the super-achievers. But after reading every biography of the super-heroes, somewhere you feel that they must have had extraordinary talent. Of course, hard work played a role but maybe I don’t have that talent. But for last few years, I have derived immense inspiration from one of our service providers and I am sharing h

“Our life is easy, simple and effortless, but our belief system makes it complex. The most important aspects of our life are very simple. You are alive because you are breathing. One breath does not come in and you go out. Is it simple to breathe or difficult? Are you doing the breathing or is it just happening? So the most important aspect of your life is simply happening. The Pranayama will help, because you are taking charge of your breath and instead of the breath happening, you are doing it.”

“Outperformance in a single aspect of your life at the expense of everything else, will not make you happy — balanced achievements in all aspects will.”

“You can dissociate prayers from religion if you try. It sounds little difficult and unrealistic but it can be done. You can devise your own prayers, which may not use any religious symbol or name. I have realized that being religious and being spiritual are two different ideas in eternity.”
