It's been a while since I last blogged anything, but I have been writing. I'm currently doing NaNoWriMo and working on a 1.5 novel in the "O'Ceagan's Legacy" series that I hope to have out in Spring. It's a fun little piece to do and features that charming rogue of a puca (pooka).

In the meantime, "A Song for Menafee" was released at the end of summer. This is the next book in the "Funeral Singer" series, so if you enjoyed the first book, you can follow more of Gillian Foster's experiences with her paranormal gift.

And I am part of a promotion that features 40-plus Ninja Writers on Instafreebie.com. For this, I submitted a fantasy short story called "The Wizard's Gift" for free there and I will be uploading it to Amazon and hoping to set it to free there also.

My latest book, "O'Ceagan's Legacy" is entered into the Kindle Scout program where readers can preview the first three chapters and vote if they would like to read the rest of the book. If my book garners enough votes and is selected for publishing by Amazon for the Kindle, then the readers who voted will get a free copy. Funeral Singer was my NaNoWriMo novel from 2014. It was the first time I joined in the writing frenzy that occurs in November and I was thrilled to be successful in completing the first draft in less than 30 days. Of course, there was still a lot of work to be done before the book was ready to send out to the world, but it was a great experience.
