Funeral Singer was my NaNoWriMo novel from 2014. It was the first time I joined in the writing frenzy that occurs in November and I was thrilled to be successful in completing the first draft in less than 30 days. Of course, there was still a lot of work to be done before the book was ready to send out to the world, but it was a great experience.
