That meant when I resumed writing I always had a starting point - finishing off what had already been started. If in real difficulty as to how to move an issue forward, I allow my characters to take over and see where they lead me - sometimes into a real mess, which is good, because then there is something to sort out, which is much better than a blank screen or piece of paper.(less)
