Indie Authors Need Your Help
Hey lovers,
Have you heard of #cockygate? How about #GetLoud? The Romance (and especially romance/erotica) genres are in trouble these days. Did you know that with 6 books published I struggle to make even $45 in a month. This month I made $4.
I write #LGBT erotica but lately the #LGBT tags have been stripped from my books, especially my Lesbian Romance, and (like many others) I’ve been tossed into a general BDSM Erotica category. This is Amazon trying to sweep a literary genre under the rug as if its no more than porn. It is not. I, like my contemporaries, work hard to write interesting and engaging narratives and we deserve to be treated like any other genre.
You can help. Use the hashtags, call attention to what’s happening, let people know. To help me specifically you can visit my fanpage for all my book links and descriptions but don’t stop with just me. Discuss your favorite authors, leave reviews, let people know that this isn’t a dirty subject. This is literature.

Lust Fairy Release Date!
Lust Fairy in Exile finally has a release date. It will be available for PRE-ORDER Aug 11 or 12th and it will officially release Nov 7 so that the ebook and audiobook can drop at about the same time! To celebrate I've created events on Facebook and MeWe (links below). Please say you'll attend and invite your friends! If you are from outside of the US (as I am) it may appear that many if not all of my books have vanished. They have not. They are all still available but Amazon has apparently made changes to force people to use their local amazon instead of the standard .com. What this means is that if you open my book in amazon.com and are in Canada you will be told it is unavailable. Do not fret. Just change .com to .ca and all formats/editions of the book will be available to you.
This is very frustrating and has not been made clear by Amazon. It is also, apparently, resulting in several glitches at the moment. I doubt it is a situation that will last long but I thought it best to make you all aware. I have 9 books available regardless of what my various Amazon pages say at this time.

Anxiety Purge
I hate to brag (I really do) but A Girl Named Flower has earned a #1 New Release in LGBT Erotica tag twice now and is currently sitting at #11 on Amazon!
With that, however, I find myself shaking (and not in the good way)
I've been semi-over thinking an intentional flaw in the protection plan used in A Girl Named Flower (put there so the hitman could find the main characters) because I'm actually, secretly, a little bit self conscious about hitting #1 (hell, being in the top 10 is mind blowing) and although I understand the character motivation and the plot relevance I still wonder what people will think.
So, spoiler free, the plan Jane concocts fails (you know, so the plot can happen) based on several flaws that should have been obvious. The problem was Jane's hubris. She's cocky, underestimates others and thinks she knows everything. She didn't stop to consider that someone could outsmart her leading her to all sorts of trouble (like...a novel's worth) but I wonder if that will properly come across. Hopefully readers will see it as good character design (flawed but trying) and not bad writing.
I guess only time will tell but the uncertainty tends to eat at me with the success of this novel. This thing is set to outpace even Beauty and the Bitch so, looking at some of the hate that book has taken, I find myself stupidly trying to predict what detractors will say and driving myself nuts.

I have been made aware that my wordwooze ebooks have been removed from Amazon. The Audiobooks remain, but there is a fear that (due to their subject matter) the ebooks could fall victim to an AI flagging campaign that is getting books removed and costing publishers their Amazon licenses.
I want to make it clear, there is no inappropriate content in my books. My characters are all consenting adults engaging in safe activities. I also want to praise Wordwooze for being communicative and supportive through this process. The ebooks have been migrates to a new platform which is NSFW, but I have been assured is safe. The links are below.
