Audible Release
So Submission Backstory has been doing fantastic on Amazon. It's labeled as LGBT erotica but it's got a strong BDSM theme. With 5 star reviews across the board (well maybe a couple 4 stars on Goodreads) it's an important book for me because it sets up the town from which I'll draw my stories.

The BEST News, however, is that it's getting released as an Audiobook as well. My publisher at Wordwooze believes strongly in Audiobooks for erotica and having heard a preview of this one I have to agree with him. Sierra Kline sounds amazing reading this story. She knows just when to be sly and when to have some fun. The book is showing in the search results on Audible and should be purchasable any minute now. I am so excited for this, it's a whole new avenue for my writing career.

It's finally here!!!
My combination of erotica and tragedy was the hardest book for me to write to date. The full gamut of emotions are on display and they took me through some very deep pain as well as some very steamy pleasure. I wept openly both writing and editing many parts of this book and it took nearly a year to bring to completion. I've been waiting for the release with bated breathe not quite sure when it would happen but it has. The goodreads page isn't up yet and I'm waiting for Amazon to let me add it to my author page but the link is hot. Master May I? BDSM Erotica like nothing that before has been released.

New Audible Release!
A fantastic bit of news that comes right on time for the Halloween season. My horror/erotica: THE DOMME’S DAUGHTER: A TOUCH TOO REAL
Now Available in Kindle Unlimited and Audiobook Editions
Domina Brookes was never going to have a normal life. Given a dominant's title for her legal name by a man-hating domme (who happens to be both the mayor and mommy dearest), fate just seemed to be against her. All her life she's been groomed as heir apparent, but Domina has always rejected her mother's world. First, she tried to ignore it, and then, when she couldn't turn away, she tried to hide. Locking herself up tight in the house her mother gave her, Domina hasn't stepped outside in years. That, of course, doesn't sit well with Domina's mother. With an election year looming and storm clouds on the horizon, Mayor Brookes can no longer tolerate an agoraphobic anti-kink daughter who could potentially turn into a PR nightmare. So she's made it her mission to drag Domina out of her shell, kicking and screaming if necessary.
As her mother comes crashing down on Domina's safe, secluded life, all hope seems lost until a light appears in the form of Tyler, the only fan of Domina's one outlet, her blog. A romantic, empathetic stranger whose courage grows as her mother's pressure mounts, he quickly becomes Domina's knight in blue jeans. Domina's defenses slowly lower as this charming young man provides a respite from her mother's storm, but danger lurks around every corner. Can Domina let Tyler into her refuge without her mother finding out? Can the young woman's fears be overcome? And who exactly is this man who would risk everything to court the mayor's only daughter?

Book Description:
Tildy is used to causing a bit of trouble. As a Lust Fairy stirring up sexy shenanigans is her role and she loves it. The only problem is that she may have pushed things too far. She's found herself exiled to the human world and her only hope of returning to her kind is to grant 100 wishes. The catch? She can only grant your wish if you believe in fairies and believers are in very short supply. That is until she finds Anna. A cute yet lonely woman with an honest belief in Tildy's kind. A belief strong enough to allow Tildy to not only grant Anna's wish but to actually appear to the woman. Anna may regret that belief, however, because her wish to find others who share it gives Tildy a naughty idea. She grants Anna a Midas touch that causes anyone she comes into contact with her to believe in fairies. It isn't permanent, Tildy isn't that strong, but it lasts long enough for a single, sexy wish. One that invariably focuses on the cute girl who just touched the wisher. Now Tildy is granting wishes left and right while Anna is sent on a wild ride through the power of her new fairy friend and the paranormal sex life that comes with her.

Whispers From the Past
By: Shawna Hunter
Book Blitz
Synopsis:
A coven of college witches heads into the woods on Halloween night.
They go intending to contact the ancient spirits who can help them unlock the power to make their dreams come true and they succeed.
The wisdom of the past, however, comes at a price and the coven soon learns that failing to recognize what one is given drives that price higher.
Now, having transgressed and offended the ancients, they will have to take what's coming to them. The ancients, however, are not perfect and even they can be corrupted. The coven came to listen to their whispers but in return they will have to give their bodies over to powers that have never experienced the pleasures of the flesh.
Author Biography:
I live in Ontario, Canada. BDSM is one of my major passions as are writing, photography, hiking and physical fitness. I love erotica but I've always felt the genre to be repetitive and stale. I wanted my own works to break from the pack and present something fresh. I want my characters to have a depth and uniqueness to them instead of being one note cliches. I write with these interests and goals in mind and hope that my readers will love the characters and stories I present as much as I do.

The girls are back!
What a busy week! Lust Fairy drops tomorrow (finally) and I'm very excited for that but a week later (Nov 12th) another book drops, A Girl Named Flower (which finally has a cover and release event on FB btw).
This is exciting for a number of reasons which I've detailed in other blog posts but one of my favorite factoids about it is that it finally sees the return of Rachel and Isabelle. Beauty and the Bitch has been my bestseller to date and people always ask me when the gym-rats will make a proper reappearance. I guess Izzy's brief cameo in The Domme's Daughter wasn't enough. Well, they're back. They aren't the main characters in A Girl Named Flower but they have a strong supporting role and are present throughout the book.
Lesbian erotica, it seems, is hot right now but I don't just want to ride that wave. I want these characters to be explored as people and this new story seems like the perfect chance to do that. How would Rachel react if told some hitman is after her friends? Would Izzy be excited to meet another lesbian couple? Well you're going to find out.
Oh, and don't worry if you prefer the characters from Wild Little Girl or Master May I? They're back to but Marcus and Darrius may not be having as much fun as the others. This one's for the girls.

Anxiety Purge
I hate to brag (I really do) but A Girl Named Flower has earned a #1 New Release in LGBT Erotica tag twice now and is currently sitting at #11 on Amazon!
With that, however, I find myself shaking (and not in the good way)
I've been semi-over thinking an intentional flaw in the protection plan used in A Girl Named Flower (put there so the hitman could find the main characters) because I'm actually, secretly, a little bit self conscious about hitting #1 (hell, being in the top 10 is mind blowing) and although I understand the character motivation and the plot relevance I still wonder what people will think.
So, spoiler free, the plan Jane concocts fails (you know, so the plot can happen) based on several flaws that should have been obvious. The problem was Jane's hubris. She's cocky, underestimates others and thinks she knows everything. She didn't stop to consider that someone could outsmart her leading her to all sorts of trouble (like...a novel's worth) but I wonder if that will properly come across. Hopefully readers will see it as good character design (flawed but trying) and not bad writing.
I guess only time will tell but the uncertainty tends to eat at me with the success of this novel. This thing is set to outpace even Beauty and the Bitch so, looking at some of the hate that book has taken, I find myself stupidly trying to predict what detractors will say and driving myself nuts.
I know, I know, you can't please everyone, you can't dwell on wat ifs and you can't second guess yourself but knowing that and practicing that are not always the same thing.

Ebook delayed release
Hey Hunters and Huntresses,
I just wanted to write a quick note related to By Right of Conquest and why it now had 3 editions. Essentially what happened was that there was a tech issue with Ingram Spark that caused 8 of my publisher's books to get stuck in limbo. The paperback version released but the ebook version was stuck. This took time to resolve as Ingram's customer service didn't realize that it was tech related at first but Kingston pushed and got it resolved.
As such I had a paperback out a few weeks before the ebook and although I had an ISBN for the kindle version the ebook's pushed back release resulted in a third version appearing. Nonetheless it's all the same goodreads page.
At time of writing the ebook version is available on Kobo, the paperback is available on Barnes and Noble and Amazon has both versions as two different Amazon pages but all 3 are available. I apologize for the confusion and I want to say thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone who preferred ebook and was patient with this headache.
