Happy New Year (Updates)

Hello Hunters and Huntresses,

2018 was one heck of a year and, unfortunately, I ended it with a harsh head cold so I apologize for the delay in my updates.

The first note, pursuant to my last blog post, is that all ebook versions are live across all platforms! There was some oddness with Amazon showing the paperback and ebook as separate books but that was resolved with a quick email to them.

In the new year I plan to continue my productivity and grow my brand. I currently have 2 WIPs on the go. One is a follow-up to A Girl Named Flower that sees the election finally hit Brooke's Hollow. Helena's evil plot to pressure the male doms out of the community is fully revealed and alliances will be tested as an unlikely hero rises.

The second is one I've thought about writing ever since I first thought about writing and my friends and family will be happy to know that it's NOT erotica (I know right?). This will be a romance/drama about a cop and a rebel in a dystopian future where people are assigned a rank (1-10) based on their physical appearance, intellect and moral sense with heavy emphasis on the first trait. He's an 8 who benefits from and protect the system. She barely ranks a 6 but there's something very odd about her. She could bring the whole thing down.

Finally I need to offer thanks to my reviewers for pointing out a few embarrassing typos in A Girl Named Flower. These primarily relate to two words that are spelled accurately and sound the same but mean very different things. Those are "waste" and "waist." The typos are my fault I made them quite frequently when writing the story and apparently both I and my editor missed a few. My publisher is working on having this corrected, however, and the ebook should be updated shortly. For those who got a paperback with the typo (as I did) I say keep it. That little oopsie will make those books collectibles one day if this author career goes as planned.

2019 will be a year of growth and expansion for me. New social media accounts, new stories, new adventures. Who knows, patreon or book signings may come along that even lead to (gasp) a face reveal! I guess we'll see but the sun is rising on a new day and I'd say that's cause enough for hope.

Owning Mistakes

Well, it's been a hot minute since I've written a blog post but that's mostly because I haven't really had much to say.

Lately I've been re-editing my last 3 books. Reviews, which I do read and appreciate, cited editing issues that had made it past the publishing process. Upon inspection there was a disconnect between myself and my new publishing company about how much editorial input the company should have. Many things I would have expected to be fixed were left in on the assumption that they were "stylistic" choices. I take responsibility for being too eager to publish and not taking the time to thoroughly triple and quadruple check.

Because of this oversight my books, although the stories are great, did not come out as strong as they should have. My readers deserve the best possible quality and so I have put my WIPs on hold to scour through my works and fix every mistake. Your emails and private messages alerting me to these errors have been invaluable and I can't thank you enough.

To that end, I finally have news! The updates to 6s and 7s and By Right of Conquest have been sent to the publisher who shares my concerns and is working hard to make the corrections and update the files across all media. A Girl Named Flower I am hard at work on and will be sent through asap.

Do not fear, however, The Kinky Destruction of Chantelle Sinclaire and Dom's Party (the next Brooke's Hollow book) are still in the works. I am not sure if I'll get either completed before 2020 but I will be damn sure that they will be of the highest quality when they are released.

Thank you all again for your kind words and patience with this process. Great, engaging and supportive readers make all the hard work and self-doubt of writing worth it and I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

Update Updates

Hello all,

It's been a rough year but I finally have some good news to share! Despite resistance due to cost the publishers have agreed to update 6s and 7s, By Right of Conquest and A Girl Named Flower taking the issues you've highlighted into account. These updates have been sent to Ingram Spark and should process through soon.

I have also submitted a collection of short stories to my first publisher. Tentatively titled "Love Taps" this will consist of 14 shorts that experiment with style and genre.

My WIPs are also coming along nicely. The Kinky Destruction of Chantelle Sinclaire is taking shape and a first draft should be ready by mid February. Once this work is on solid footing I will return to Brooke's Hollow to finally tackle Dom's Party. The story of the election that will tear the town apart!

Love Taps are on the way

Well, I've finally signed a new publishing contract and my short story anthology, Love Taps, is going into publication soon.

It has been a while, I know, and a lot has happened in my life. I lost my day job and have been struggling to find a new one, I've had to get a new car, I've had medical issues, bla bla bla rough few months. These events have really eaten into my writing time and that's on top of the delays caused by all the edits and reworks.

All that said, I'm hoping to turn a corner soon. Love Taps is a collection of kinky shorts. Some I've teased you with (but these have been improved and, in some cases, expanded) and some are never before seen. They are all kinky, mostly sci fi, and experimental. These stories were all about flexing my creative muscles and seeing where things take me. From a genetically modified booty that will explode if she doesn't get a spanking to a stowaway trapped with an ex-soldier in deep space there's a lot to titillate and excite.

While it goes through the process I've also rounded the corner on The Kinky Destruction of Chantelle Sinclaire. My next full length novel about a public speaker/author/stage actress who develops a hatred for her public image and a kink for tearing that legacy apart. It's taboo, it's naughty and it's so much fun. I just have to find the time to sit down and finish it.

Here's hoping that things are looking up as spring slowly creeps up on us!

New Releases and WIPs

It's been a hot minute since I've posted here, but I just don't see much interaction on the site so...

Anyway, I did want to put out a quick message about my latest works. I've had 2 books published this year and I'm well on my way to completing my third WIP. It's an exciting period of growth and experimentation for me. I'm trying new ideas, experimenting and finding new avenues to express my fantasies in fun and engaging ways. To that end, I've put a little thought for each of my new works below. Please do enjoy, and check out the books. I love it when people share their thoughts on my work (good, bad or meh) and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to do so.

The Kinky Destruction of Chantelle Sinclaire - This is one I had a lot of fun with. An actress/public speaker who hides that she's from a privileged background, Chantelle Sinclaire (yes I do the full name throughout, to emphasize her status) seems like a role model. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, Chantelle discovers something of a kink. She enjoys free spirited and submissive sex. Not dangerous, per se, but practices that risk her exposure. She wants to be a slut, and feels constrained by social expectations that won't let her explore this new sexual self. The book explores her pushing against societal constraints, protected yet guided by her bodyguards, and asks the question: "are you truly free if you can't be what you want?"

Unfaithful Confessions: This, like Their Wild Little Girl and Beauty and The Bitch, is a title I was surprised to find is not uncommon. My Unfaithful Confessions is written from the pov of recurring character Alyssa K. In this story, Alyssa is thinking about infidelity in all it's forms. To explore this, she's reached out to some of her fans for stories. The book becomes a sort of short story anthology, with Alyssa reading these letters and commenting on them. Think Sex and the City if the narrator had more snark. I don't praise or shame any form of infidelity from cuckolding to hotwife to swinger, but I do take issue with people who lie to themselves about what they're doing. The book, therefore, is a naughty thrill. Ooh stories about cheating? Is the reader considering an affair? What if your spouse saw you reading this? But it's not a "go do it" or a "don't do it." It's more a "here's some ways it expresses itself and their pros and cons." A fun book, if you don't take it too seriously.

My latest WIP is currently in the first re-write phase. Tentatively titled Mistress Domination: The Rise of Princess Prude, it follows a superheroine who calls herself Mistress Domination (real name: Kate). She has the power to manifest sex toys, and anything anyone might consider a sex toy (including clothing). Unlike Green Lantern, who was an inspiration, her creations manifest as totally real and convincing objects. If she doesn't manifest them with a time limit, they'll exist as long as the real object would...and function just the same. She can also control them, make them levitate or activate. She can bring chains from a wall to capture you or manifest giant kinky boots to literally walk all over you. The titular Princess, is her roommate Penelope. A very religious girl with a strong sense of self-denial about her own sexuality. She can make Mistress Dominations creations "unmanifest" (boy does my spellcheck not like that word). Kate is her best friend, yet Mistress Domination is her most hated "enemy." She'll chase the heroine around, lecturing her on immorality, then cry in the friend's arms about her failure to stop the evil witch. You're probably writing the rest yourself, but are you as good at naughty fun as I am? (I hope not, otherwise your books will outsell mine!).

There is a sequel to Mistress Domination in the works as well. In it, she'll meet a super villain who has the power to "bimbofy" women (make them into hypersexualized, intellectually deficient slaves to his will). It's still in the planning phase, so I won't give too many details yet, but the working title is Mistress Domination: Doomed to Dumbnation. Do I sometimes write stories just to see if I can make a silly idea work? Yes. Does it pay off? Well, if the sales for The Lust Fairy in Exile are any indication then YES, it absolutely does.

I am still here, still writing and still having fun so be sure to follow me on my facebook page, my facebook account, my twitter, my instagram, my mewe, my lawn, my grocery store, my secret webcams (at least until I find them). I'm always posting updates!

Doomed to Dumbnation

Hello Hunters and Huntresses,

It's been a while since I've posted here, but what can I say? Goodreads seems all but dead. Most of the authors I know have migrated to Bookbub and I get far too many spam reviews here from people who clearly didn't read the books.

That said, I have met a lot of great writing friends here and I don't want to abandon it entirely. So, the updates. The sequel to Mistress Domination is almost complete. I hope to have it finished and submitted to my publisher in the next week or so. It ramps up the action, comedy, and drama significantly without losing sight of the emotional core of the story and I think fans of the first (who are more vocal on other platforms) will enjoy this world expanding sequel.

I am also participating in another charity anthology. No world on release date yet but it's for an organization that helps support the families of American troops while they're deployed and is very near and dear to my publisher. Personally, I'm always happy to help a good cause and the short I've written (set in the world of By Right of Conquest) was a fun and kinky D&D style adventure with a dark twist I think fans of evil characters will get a kick out of.

So, lots going on and I'm sharing a lot more about it where the audience is. Sorry if I sound a touch bitter but I really liked Goodreads and no one has positive things to say about it in author circles any more.
