Still today, I am a Goodreads.com virgin. Be patient with me...be gentle. More than a few have advised that I join in the hopes of not only viewing the opinions of others on books in general, but [for more selfish reasons] to enhance my chances of getting any of you to read my very own self-published books RABBIT TRAILS and BIRDS ON A WIRE as well as my most recent: SLOW FIRE BURNING. Since self-publishing each, they have received excellent reviews here on Good Reads, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. That gives me hope. When readers reach out directly to share their compliments they give me the proverbial "shot in the arm".
