After more than twenty-five years writing and delivering management and other training programs, Aleigha turned her writing efforts to fiction and poetry.

When not writing, you’ll often find Aleigha walking along the shore with her four-legged companion, Strider. The whoosh of waves across glistening sand, and the turbulent swell of the sea at sunset dissolve the noise of the day. If this fails to conjure the muses and stimulate her creative juices, she’ll sip a glass of wine and read. She loves all forms of writing, but historical and romance fiction, especially those with time-travel themes, provide a favorite escape. Aleigha firmly believes everyone secretly yearns for the romance genre’s essential HEA.

For some reason I was not seeing my dashboard. All fixed now so these answers are late. Sorry for the delay.
Witers's block is always difficult and lately I've hit that hard wall a few times. When it seems insurmountable, I write other things, poetry, lists of things to go into next work, lists of words, etc. Sometimes I fiddle with blog ideas but in the throes of block they usually feel flat too. Poetry frequently spurs me out of the doldrums.(less)
Aleigha Siron Aside from occasional moments of doubt or frustration, I love the creative process, the research for content and the desire to enchant my audience.

First, a quick update on why I’ve posted so few blogs in the past year. Aside from not wanting to bore everyone to death.

“A heavenly female with long, russet tresses that drifted over her right shoulder in undulating waves stepped toward him. A bright blue ribbon held her unruly mass of hair. She wore a light blue, snugly fitted shirt that matched the ribbon. It clung to full breasts tapering to a narrow waist. Skin like polished stone with a light kiss from the sun gleamed in the gathering light. Large, round, azure eyes the shade of sea shoals under a noonday summer sun and blanketed with thick lashes assessed him and left him speechless.”
Aleigha Siron, My San Francisco Highlander

“One shoulder had slipped from the coverings and appeared bound with a thin strap of shiny material the color of blushed skin. Damn if he didn’t want that face on his chest, those fingers threading through his hair, his own fingers exploring the soft lushness of her body. She disturbed him, called to him even in sleep, and he didn’t like it.”
Aleigha Siron, Finding My Highlander

“Are you in need of assistance?" The man's fierce, disturbing appearance should have caused her to run in the opposite direction as fast as possible, but she felt an unexplainable urge to help him.

"My name is Gillian Adair. My father is a doctor. You look as though you might need his help." The man watched her; an expression of total confusion twisted his face.

“Are ye my angel, then? Have ye come to take me from this hell?”

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”

“Huge azure eyes with flecks of gold around the pupils sparked with that inner fire he’d just witnessed. Then her hand extended toward him. “What’s your name?”

Angus looked at the hand angled as a man might extend his hand in greeting. He took her fingertips between his, turned her palm down, bowed, and lightly brushed his lips across her knuckles, “Angus Brian Cameron, at your service m’lady.” Even her hand smelled like a field of wild flowers.”
