There’s A Joker In The Deck I gave this a 5-star rating because of the very last chapter—its a kicker. Unusual for Krenz whose pet dogs and cats in her stories generally don’t show much difference in their personalities. |

an interesting book This book has an engaging mystery although I did figure out who done it long before the end of the book. After that, it was mostly a matter of how they were going to catch them. It also has a very low-key romance. |

an excellent story As a coming-of-age story, this is very good and I really think the youth fiction people love it. Would be interested to see if there’s a sequel to it an idea. Yes, I do recommend it. |

A Drop in the Potion I found a new series. The premise isn't really new, but this one is full of entertaining characters and it does have a nice tight mystery in each book. I believe the series Title is Spellbound, by Annabel Chase.
