C.S. Lewis
“It is a very silly idea that in reading a book you must never ‘skip’. All sensible people skip freely when they come to a chapter which they find is going to be no use to them.”
C.S. Lewis

John Senior
“Literature is the ox of culture, its beast of burden. Without it we have no means of bearing culture.”
John Senior, The Death of Christian Culture

Pedro Miguel Lamet
Pedro Miguel Lamet, ARRUPE. Testigo del siglo XX, profeta del XXI (Jesuitas)

“Just because some Africans enslaved rival tribes before European arrival, doesn't mean all Africans enslaved. Buying/selling humans was unthinkable to peaceful tribes like our Lenape, and the San of Africa.”
San Mateo, San Mateo: Proof of The Divine

Francis of Assisi
“Let us keep ourselves from the wisdom of this world, and the prudence of the flesh; for the spirit of the world wishes and cares much for words, but little for work; and it seeks not religion and interior sanctity of spirit, but wishes and desires a religion and sanctity appearing from without to men.”
Francis of Assisi, The Writings of St. Francis of Assisi
