Η Κωνσταντία Σωτηρίου γεννήθηκε το 1975 στη Λευκωσία. Είναι απόφοιτος του Τµήµατος Τουρκικών και Μεσανατολικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστηµίου Κύπρου και κάτοχος µεταπτυχιακού στην Ιστορία της Μέσης Ανατολής από το Πανεπιστήµιο του Μάντσεστερ. Εργάζεται ως λειτουργός τύπου στο Γραφείο Τύπου και Πληροφοριών της Κυπριακής Δηµοκρατίας. Το µυθιστόρηµά της Η Αϊσέ πάει διακοπές (Εκδόσεις Πατάκη, 2015) βραβεύτηκε µε το Athens Prize for Literature, ήταν στη βραχεία λίστα των κρατικών βραβείων Κύπρου και στη βραχεία λίστα στην κατηγορία των πρωτοεµφανιζόµενων συγγραφέων των βραβείων του περιοδικού Ο Αναγνώστης και του περιοδικού Κλεψύδρα.
