While the authorities caught the murderer, he had an extremely low IQ and wasn't even articulate enough to give a reason for the killing. It was well known that the girl's brother had swindled one of the richest men in town on a drug deal. The rich man was powerful and also known for being creepy, vindictive, and violent; and there was a general feeling that this powerful man arranged the murder as a way to send a message to the brother. While the murderer spent the rest of his life in prison, I wasn't the only one who felt that we didn't get the whole story and that justice was not served. (less)

Vile Recurrence
