Hello, my name is Brady Longmore. Thanks for stopping by my page and having a look at my work. I am a native and lifelong resident of South East Idaho. As far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by tales of the paranormal, and mysterious legends. I have always relished those cold chills that spill down the spine during a good ghost story. And the sense of mystery and wonder that tickle the imagination when hearing eyewitness accounts of a Sasquatch sighting, or a UFO encounter.
A little over twenty years ago, I found myself on a train ride to Budapest, Hungary from an outlying town in the Hungarian interior. I was returning to America, after being away for two years, and wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Be

A Haunting in Idaho 9: The Unholy Ghost of Salem, Idaho

The following true story has been terrifying me for most of my life. So much so, that I paid homage to it in my first book, The Summoning Those who have read it will immediately remember the significance that the old Salem Church plays in my novel. But, little do people know, such a place really existed and it was no less unnerving. The following true account is taken from none other than my o Read more of this blog post »

Ray Bradbury
“For these beings, fall is ever the normal season, the only weather, there be no choice beyond. Where do they come from? The dust. Where do they go? The grave. Does blood stir their veins? No: the night wind. What ticks in their head? The worm. What speaks from their mouth? The toad. What sees from their eye? The snake. What hears with their ear? The abyss between the stars. They sift the human storm for souls, eat flesh of reason, fill tombs with sinners. They frenzy forth....Such are the autumn people.”
Ray Bradbury

Chelsea G. Summers
“Unlike most other language — which is stored in cerebral cortex, the brain’s center for higher learning — curse words are stored in the limbic system, our most basic, lizard brain level.”
Chelsea G. Summers

Petronius
“We trained hard—but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we were reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while actually producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.”
Petronius Arbiter

Dean Koontz
“Most people desperately desire to believe that they are part of a great mystery, that Creation is a work of grace and glory, not merely the result of random forces colliding. Yet each time that they are given but one reason to doubt, a worm in the apple of the heart makes them turn away from a thousand proofs of the miraculous, whereupon they have a drunkard’s thirst for cynicism, and they feed upon despair as a starving man upon a loaf of bread.”
Dean Koontz, Odd Thomas

Herman Melville
“There, then, he sat, the sign and symbol of a man without faith, hopelessly holding up hope in the midst of despair.”
Herman Melville, Moby Dick
