I love to write about the Heroines Journey in the paranormal universe, because writing about everyday life is boring for me (hence I am horrible at blogging). I love taking a character who thinks she is weak and showing her how strong she really is.

I live on forty acres in Northwest Colorado with two dogs (Ajax and Achilles), a few barn cats (Two-Face, Skeletor, and Silvester) and my amazing husband. I love not having any neighbors, being outside in the summer and inside in the winter. I have traveled to many places in the world, but I have many more places to visit before I am done.

When I am not staring at the monitor writing, I am staring at my Kindle reading, or spending time with my husband and animals.

Writing my problems and ideas out long hand get me where I need to go. Sometimes I vent about what I am writing about (when I don’t like what I have written). Other times I will come up with possible solutions to whatever problem I am having.

If all else fails and I can’t find the motivation to break through my block I will work on something completely different. Give my mind a break from the problems I am having, that might be working on a different story, picking up the book I am currently reading, or worse case scenario clean my house. I have to be really stuck to want to clean the house.

What are you currently working on?

I just finished working on a first draft of a Young Adult Series. It will be in the paranormal genre but it does not have any vampires, witched, or shifters. I am really excited about this romance and can’t wait to get back to it. I have no idea when this one will be released.

I am about 14,000 words into the third Asteria’s Daughter book. I have a long way to go before it is done, but I am hoping for an early 2018 release.
